South Australian Matriculation

A year of South Australian Matriculation is over, spend some quality time with my friends at various places before heading back home. Never knew, a year of hard struggle made us so immobile that most of us remained strangers to each other even if we had spend a year together in the same class. So, in order to compensate the loss time that should have spent with friends instead of doing assignment for 24/7, my classmates made sure that we had more than one farewell party. which ended up to having as much as 3 farewell parties at the end of the day.

The first farewell party was held with my English As A Second Language teacher, Mrs. Betty. It was held before the exams, and despite of the fact that the difference in the type of curriculum that we had with her and back in school had caused a lot of unsatisfied talks among the students. She was surprisingly happy with us and even made us a few korean dishes ( which I don't dare to touch, maybe my Indian taste buds needs more of spices where korean dishes are lacking of it) and KFC. I had my share of fun to it. A lot of memories had been embedded in that day  I shall let my pictures to speak to you since it's voice is louder and has a much more interesting way of saying it than my boring long words here. :P

A group shot of us and yea, I am the only Indian guy in the photo. The matured lady who is sat beside the guy  (Joel) is Mrs. Betty.

How did I end up being Ravana again?
Owh look and they are colourful hands. :P

Damn! I was framed in this photo. They asked me for a pose, and I did a pose. but the camera man did not mention anything like 'RAJ! CHANGE YOUR FREAKING POSE'

This photo was actually shown during the prom night. D: owh and look at Neesha's face! epic!
Then a few days later, we had another farewell party for the same subject at an Old Town outlet in New World Park. Myself, Neesha, Eugene, Aedin and Dylan met up in Disted car park, we decided to start our journey at the same time while I was waiting for a a friend of mine Shawn to car pool with me. So, yea he arrived and we move out of Disted to NWP. As soon as the front tyre of those two cars infront of me touched the main road outside Disted, they sped of like hell. Me? yea I was speeding too but come on! So yea, I was an amateur back then and I was left behind alone in the concrete jungle of nowhere but I somehow found the way to New World Park. Parked my car, and met the lot. They were fucking laughing at me but sooner after that incident I learnt the art of speeding from a friend of mine which I am not going to say it here. The party gave me a card to sign which was meant for Miss Betty's retirement from Disted. I read the letter and it was freaking touching with all those pictures of us and stuff. I Didn't know I had a soft spot.
Can you spot me at the edge of the table? Yea I was on the phone like every other Penangites.

Owh its a candid shot with Shawn. :D
We had another farewell. It was held before and after our last Physics class. So, before our physics class, we had a small gathering with some photo sessions in front of the library which Felix Heah insisted me to come. Not much of a party and more like a photo session. :P

So yea, here I stand with Felix Heah (red shirt), Jolene (long hair girl) and Jeniffer (black shirt girl)

Whereas, here I was standing with Shir Hoay ( the girl where my hands were resting), Shivaani  (the shortest in the photo), Neesha Menon (red and white checkered shirt), Shalini (blue shirt), Felix Heah, and Yogesh. Owh,  look at how happy we were, NOT! we were just smilling for the sake of the camera. Nobody smiles a week when there is an exam around the corner.

There was another photo shot after the physics class, note my shirt changed? Yeah, I went back home for a short period of time. Owh and please don't mind the sweaty face of mine. It was a freaking long day. :P

There sweaty me with Jia Yen. (This was the last time I saw her, hope we meet up again Jia Yen)

The girls were not prepared for the shot and yea  I smiled because my sixth sense told me 'Hey Raj!, the camera is in your direction! Smile like an idiot NOW! and Andrew? why are you smilling like a little kid? :P

And the girls were prepared now and yea, look at the famous me! LOL!
Me and Lei Kuan. Still in touch with her, can't really meet up nowadays since she is in Launnie and I am in the other side of Malaysia. :/
And THIS is the most eligible bachelor in Disted, Mr. Eujin!

So, here I am talking to Andrew in the middle of a Physics lesson about the soon to come prom nite. We were discussing on which attire should we put on to look like a star! :P

GROUP PHOTO FOLKS! Wait a minute where are all the other guys?

If you were reading quite cautiously, you would have seen the part I said something about Prom. Yes, folks Prom Nite or known as The SAM Masquerade Nite to us SAM-mates was held a month after our finals ended. We were all thrilled, looking for the best attire to look great on that occasion since it would be to most of us the last night we would be together as  classmates. We bound to make it the best and the most of it. It was held in Gurney Hotel at around 8 pm and ended around 12 am. I shall let the photo to speak on behalf of me.

Yeah, these are the Indian community of South Australian Matriculation in Disted. Starting from left of the picture, me, Shatish ( One of my best mate), Yogesh, Shalini, and the glamorous Nanthini.
Another picture!

The hoods of Disted! from right me, Ong Lin Eow, Yu Chow, Shatish (MACHA!) , Yonglin, Stefan, and Sean Koay. Just heard from them, and was very happy that everyone are doing great in the course of their choice.

Yup! another photo session with buddies of SAM

I was sitting with a group of my friends and they decided that it would be a great idea to capture a picture of mine unguarded. -.- Owh and that hand which contrast to mine belongs to Adeline. :P

So, this post depicts a year filled with pure awesomeness and fun which I had during my year in South Australian Matriculation at Disted. However a month after the prom, my ATAR was out and I received an offer from Curtin Sarawak for Applied Geology and DAMN! was I happy to be in my dream programme? YOU BET I WAS! So yup! my next post would be on my days in Miri, Sarawak folks! :D

P.S: You may wonder why did I write about four farewell parties when I told three farewell parties earlier. Well, I lied! :P
